Help[Opinions] Laurence
I was thinking about this name last night when I started fretting needlessly (as I often do) about how I could be able to honour my mom if I had a son instead of a daughter. Her name is Lori, so I thought maybe Laurence. (I also like Lauritz, which is like a magical mashup of her names, Lori Rita - Rita is my great-grandmother whose nickname was Ritz).
Is Laurence a close enough boy version of Lori, do you think? What do you think of Laurence - do you prefer Lawrence, or think it is just too geeky and not ripe for revival?
