If you use a familiar spelling, you save your child from having to explain, repeat, spell out loud etc for the rest of her life. That's worth it.
Ana is typically Portuguese; maybe also Spanish, I don't know. But -belle is typically French. Odd mixture.
Annabel is the original spelling; Annabelle, like Isabelle, is familiar in English - especially American English - but opinions are divided. Some think it's more feminine, others that it's too frilly and fussy. So that's a matter of choice. Anabelle just looks wrong to me: have you seen it used somewhere, or did you decide on it yourself?
