It's pretty sounding. I wouldn't use it because to me it has religious, particularly Catholic, overtones and I'm not religious. Of course, the word litany can be used outside of a religious contexts...such as, "She had a litany of complaints", but there is still the prayer association attached to it. But if one doesn't have that objection, it's a very pretty word name.

Ditto bothMy dad uses a lot of litanies in his services and my mom always uses the word "litany" with complaints and what-not. It's too much of a word.
