I'm not sure what I think of it, really. I think it's very pretty and unusual but I'm not quite sure how to pronunce it. I think I like the spelling Aither best, because it looks the most like a name to me.
But I love the idea behind it so it gets a go for me. :-D

I completely forgot ether was a drug! It doesn't make me like the name any less, but it definitely rules out that particular spelling. Now I'm reminded of the passage from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas about how ether makes a person behave like "the village drunkard in some early Irish novel". LOL
