Well, I'm not sure what you mean by associations--especially since I've been to neither Savannah nor a savannah. And what I think of when I hear the name is a four year old pretty-pretty-princess type who screams for what she wants, so I don't think that helps.
If you could explain more thoroughly what you mean, I'd be happy to try and help you out.
