I'm iffy on Jennine, because it strikes me as a name that's not supposed to be
Janine or
Jeannine, but a name based on
Jennifer that happens to sound exactly like
Janine. When I see the
Jenn part, I tend to want to stress the first syllable, like in
Jennifer. So I'd personally prefer the spelling
Jeannine or
Janine.
I like the sound of
Summer Jennine. It's a modest but dignified, moderately unique, nature-related name, which is right up my alley so to speak. On a real person (I've met one),
Summer is unusual enough to be interesting without being stupid. (The
Summer I know actually is kind of an airhead, but that's beside the point.)
The problem I see with it before anything else (and although it sounds trivial, I
promise you it's not) - try signing that name a few times, fast, as if it was your signature, and see how well you like it. Haha.. I know because my own name is almost that bad! You sign your full name as often as several times a day, and it's a pain in the neck every single time.
