I only think of the character and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (it also reminds me of Quatermass!) - is it a real name? Either way, I think it would be a bit ridiculous as a fn for a real person. Hell of a name, though.

Yep yep, that's what it's from! I'm not sure if it's a real name outside of the character.
