Sorry, both of them are not pretty to me and I can't think of a reason to use them with so many awesome 'A' names around.

Same here.

They go beyond ugly-chic to me and are just straight ugly.

If someone was twisting my arm to choose, I'd go with Agatha. Agnes has a slimy little sound that puts me off.
