[Opinions] Geordon
There's a kid in my class with the name Geordon (Male) and it's pronounced like Jordan. I've never seen this spelling before and I actually don't hate it but I think it might be a little much. WDYT?

Looks like they were trying way to hard to be fancy.
While I think it looks obnoxiously dumbed down to spell a Geor- name with Jor-, I've never encountered the opposite! I think it has sort of the opposite effect, too. It looks obnoxiously like they're trying too hard to be fancy or something. I also agree with ninjato, it looks like they couldn't pick between George and Gordon!
There is an Irish rugby player called Geordan Murphy which is similar. I just googled him because I couldn't remember his surname. According to Wikipedia: He was officially named George after his father but his mother called him Geordan to avoid confusion.
I'm not a fan of Geordon or Geordan but then again, I don't like Jordan either. I think it he would probably have to spell out his name all the time which must get annoying.
