[Opinions] Re: Anelle
Hmmm. Anelle seems more like Janelle missing the J. It's rather annoying, sorry. And I don't think it sounds that well with surname Russell -- they both end in teh same sound. I wish I could be more positive. :-/ I could perhaps see Anella as a nn for something like Antonella -- something with substance. I get that you don't want a name that every other kid on the block has. But I think you're going too far in the other direction: an alphabet soup name. What you need is a classic that is known, but not overly used. How about:Elsa, Gemma, Anais / Anouk, Ellen / Elena / Eleni / Elin, Ailsa, Linnea ("li-NAY-uh"), Alannah, Althea, Anthea, Ornella, Allegra, Leandra, Melina, Leonie ("LEE-uh-nee" or "LAY-uh-nee"), Honora / Honor, Stella / Estella, Celeste, Ines, Mireille / Mireia / Mireya, Matea / Mattea, Solene, Soleil, Sinead / Jeanette / Siobhan, Della, Delia, Elva / Elvy, Alva.
