When I saw it I thought "Mireille misspelled" and yes it does seem made up. Based on Muriel and not a bad invention.I do like the sound of MEER-ee-el ... but Mirielle looks like the stress is on the ELLE. I'd spell it Miriel. LOTRish but not terribly flakey.

In case no one has answered, LOTR is short-hand for Lord of The Rings.
Indicating, I suppose,a flavour of "long ago and far away", romantic, mythical.I have a bracelet that I call my Lord of the Rings bracelet, it's darkened silver with garnets. I feel like a princess from a far-away land when I wear it.(Though I don't look like one, otherwise!)
