As I'm Swedish, I've heard it many times.
I don't like it. It's too old fashion, outdated. I can't imagine someone under the age of 70 with this name. And I can't really say that I like how it's pronounced in English, either. Daphne is better.

Ditto. Can't imagine Dagny on a young person. A Dagny, to me, is in her 80s. It always makes me think of a (rather old) Swedish song about a young waitress working at a café in Uppsala (my hometown). We ALWAYS had to sing it during music classes just because the composer, Owe Törnqvist, is one of Uppsala's celebrities. So to me, Dagny is an irritating song.
And the fact that it's the heroine of a book by Ayn Rand (yuck) doesn't exactly make it more appealing...
