My mother works in a medical office and she had a patient come in with the name Leejam. After calling "Leejam...Leejam?" in the waiting room a few times, there was a loud sigh followed by a young woman with her son standing up and she said "It's pronounced 'Liam'"
This child will be called "lee-jam" much more than Liam, based on that spelling, in my opinion. Why be so kr8tyv when Liam is so simple?
