Dated? What's that? In my name world classics are always in style. But I know what you mean. Look at it this way: you would be ahead of the curve. :0)
My only fear about this name is the obvious go-to nickname: Maxi / Maxie. Maxi-pads are all too available for the immature teaser. Normally I try not to dwell on a name's teasing potential because all names can be twisted. But this one is just too easy, at least here in the U.S. :0/ Maybe I'm wrong. I hope so.
