IMO, some surnames or word names just don't sound as right as other names. Woods is on that list for me although I have to say that since hearing the name my dd's teacher gave her son, Blanks, Woods does sound more appropriate.
Even as the mom's maiden name, Blanks is still so awkward as a fn.
Back to Woods, most of us are used to hearing
Woody (usually as a nn for a surname containing Wood), but the point is that we've all heard it before so Woods isn't too out there.
Of your combos, I like the long mns best paired with Woods:
