Margaret, nn Maisie makes perfect sense to me. It could be derived from Daisy (in French a daisy is "marguerite") or it could have stemmed from the nn Mae. These are just my guesses, but I've seen it listed as a traditional nn for Margaret. Margaret Olivia is beautiful. Margaret Ophelia is gutsy.
