I think it works. If someone is non-binary they don’t want to be tied to masculine or feminine exclusively, so a unisex name like Wilfrid works (even if it is mostly male), especially for someone who is AFAB (a female at birth). You could also have them go by a feminine variant like Wilfrida on femme days.

I’m kinda genderfluid myself and have a unisex, but mostly masc name, so it’s just how I would approach it.
