I really like the name Firdaus! It is not a name that I have encountered before, but it has a positive meaning, is fairly easy to pronounce, and seems like it would translate well across cultures.
I would have to read the 'Shahnameh' before really considering using it, but Firdaus holds its own with other paradise associated names like Elysia and Eden. What do you think of a sibling set of Firdaus and Elysia?
