lmao. I have quite a few friends who have Sparrow as their surname so it'd be too weird for me... but Captain Jack Sparrow is pretty cool :-) I'm not crazy enough to actually name a kid Jack Sparrow but if I was... it's a pretty cool name. lol

I didn't think of Jack Sparrow...

I guess there are worse associations than Johnny Depp though, hahaha!

Actually I was thinking of it as a girls name. Similar to Wren, Robin, Lark...

Ah... then, ew, no. It's a masculine name imo - even if I hadn't ever seen PoTC, Sparrow just sounds manly. So does Robin - Robin, to me, is NOT a girls name.

Nature names I really see as fair game for either gender, left only to personal preference. I like Robin for both. Sparrow is for girls though. :D
