Nerdy means having awkwardly strong opinions about niche interests, I thought. Of course other people are indifferent.
Let's talk about Cheryl, though!
It's interesting to me that its meaning/origin and popularity/time overlaps with Darlene, yet they sound nothing alike.
I think they are both charming relics that convey sweetness and gumption. I would be happy to meet a young Cheryl.
