Ryan as a substitute for King is hilarious. It's like "I know you were thinking about Bear, but how about Arthur?!" as if those are the same style.
I think Rex can be endearing, but for the most part, it's ugly in English...like car wrecks. Plus there's Oedipus as the most famous one.

I am amused by people who suggest entirely different names when this is just a fun hypothetical.
