I came across this surname a few days ago. My Ukraine brain assumed that it must be from the Polish version of the word притулок (prytulok), which means "shelter" in Ukrainian. After visiting a Ukrainian-Polish dictionary, I have found no such word, just przytułek, which is definitely not where Pritulak would come from. So, where does the last name Pritulak come from etymologically?
