I'm sorry, but the meaning of the word given in the Wikipedia article is the sixth definition given in the Wiktionary article:http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/rogueI believe that the primary definition of this word in English is still the #1 given in Wiktionary:A scoundrel, rascal or unprincipled, deceitful, and unreliable personAs such I do not think it is an appropriate word to turn into a child's name, any more than words like Rascal, Scoundrel, Criminal, Jerk, or Womanizer are appropriate words to turn into children's names in English speaking countries.

uhoh...,Yah, I see what you mean. Dont' get me wrong, I wouldn't use this name myself. The truth is, his fiance is much younger than him (26), hes' 42 and she know not of X-men, or of the negative definitions of the word. And I got the "don't tell her" half joke, but actually serious nod from him!
