[Opinions] Re: Howl?
in reply to a message by Flute
I think it's an adorable nickname, a great name for a pet, and excellent on the character - I loved the movie, too. But as a real first name? I'm not sure. I love the way the word looks, and I definitely could consider using it as a nn because it's fun and cute, but I still wouldn't call my child that. But it's definitely got "guily pleasure" appeal - I'm actually liking it more and more as I type this :-)Combos:Howl Matthias

I was thinking of it as a nn too, but I couldn't think of anything I could use it as a nn for. Hmm....Out of your combos, I like:Howl Matthias
Howl Alistair (the L thing throws me, though, like it does with Howl Oliver....)
Howl Caspian
Howl Oliver
Howl Edward (I don't even really like Edward, but I like this combo)
Howl Lachlan (again with the L's, though)
Howl Cormac
Howl Janus
Howl Patrick
Howl Neil
Howl Daniel
Howl Lysander
Howl Simon
Howl Declan
Howl Constantine (I'm really liking this, for some reason; possibly because Howl is so short and Constantine seems to balance it)
Howl Benedict
Howl Cassius
Howl James-------
