My friend worked at a hospital around here, and we were talking about names. This atrocity was the actual FN of a little girl born this summer.
When she said "Jane Ellen," I was like, Oh, that's cute.
Then she spelled it for me. Sigh.
ETA: Any takers on the bet that Jane and Ellen are grandma's names that this teen mum had to use to appease the 'rents, but she thought she'd trendy it up a bit?
There was a twinset named Pebbles and Bambam, too. I really, really, really wish I were making this up. They were kids in a local preschool class.
