I like the "Three F's!" However, I do like Apple, Clementine, and such. So maybe, Foods except Fruits for me?Flavours I'll go with. Cinnamon, Chocolate, Vanilla, that gets wierd. One of my friend's middle name is Coffee, though! Not that I'd use it, but it's cute, hehe. And Fabrics... Paisley, Cashmere and Velvet should not be names! Probably not Cotton or Silk either!

What about Argyle?Had a prof with Argyle as a fn (I've always prn it AR-guy-l and it makes me think of socks, lol), but he prn it AR-juhl. Either way, it's not something I'd advocate naming a child. ;o)Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts

I would normally think the same way about the name Velvet- (or Paisley, Denim ect.)
But my sister-in-law is named Velvet. Her mom got it from the old movie "National Velvet" with Elizabeth Taylor playing the main character whose name is Velvet.
It really fits my sis-in-law well. She makes the name work and I kinda like it now.

I like Clementine, too, but I don't consider it a fruit name because the name isn't derived from the fruit. Apple, however, fails to impress me - though it's certainly better than something like Candy, Cookie, or Paprika in my books. Eatable things as names are just NMS.

How about Taffeta? :)I also have an affinity for Denim, for some reason--I think it's Cambria's fault. Whoever suggested Marie Denim to me, at least.Organdy is one I can't get behind, though. ;)

There are. Like Satine, which is pretty enough, IMO, despite being a fabric.
