My mom has worked with an African-American woman named Neva for about 15 years, and I know her well, too. But she's kind of ditzy and not terribly responsible, so I kind of have a negative assocation with it because of her. :-/ Also, it reminds me of a nevus (mole). :b
ETA: Hey, Neva is Haven spelled backwards without the "h". :b Kind of cool connection, I think. :)
