I would find it a bit too political--like naming a child Ireland or Zion. As good (or blind) as the intentions might be, it just sounds like you're using the baby as a soapbox.
If you really like it (and since you like to get the Led out, I don't doubt you do ;), then I think it would be best relegated to a middle name spot.
