Not quite like Magda-layna but certainly not Magda-leena.Magdalena is used in Sweden, not very common but maybe more common than in USA/UK. Lena is more common (not pronounced as Leena), which can be short for both Magdalena and Helena. Malin is a very popular short form of Magdalena, now used as a formal name.I like Magdalena but the problem is that it gets shortened. And I don't care for Magda or Maggan, and Lena is so common."But it’s all right now.
