I know a Venetia too. Her family named her after the city of Venice. Ironically, she is Italian on her mom's side. Nice girl. As for the name, I don't like it. I think it would look silly.
I never thought of a connection to Gwyneth. The Venetia I know doesn't have any Welsh in her.
