[Opinions] Re: Anderson
in reply to a message by Alice
Sorry, I see it as a surname & I dont't like surnamey names for children, except possibly when it is a family surname. I much prefer just Andrew, Finn Anderson does however go together nicely.~ * ~ Evy ~ * ~

Thanks, I don't usually like last names on children either usually. I do like using last names of my favourite poets or artists (as middle names) thoughAlice (who has a 6 hr AS exam on Monday!)
My favourite names are Iris Lyra, Freya Jasmine, Henry Atticus and Finn AndersonProud big sister to Sophie and Isabel

I think Anderson sounds very nice as a first or middle name. And as many last names (Bailey, Mason, etc.) are becoming trendy as first names, I think it wouldn't sound too unusual. However, I think Finn is rather unkind as a first name if the child is ever going to attend school; it's so uncommon and rhymes with the noun 'fin'.
