No. Siobhan is "shi-VAWN." End of story. Pronouncing it any other way would be as ridiculous as pronouncing Sean "seen." Don't do it. If you truly don't like the "shi-VAWN" pronunciation, then it's time for another name entirely. I'm sorry if I'm being harsh, but I'm Irish. My niece's mn is Siobhan. I'm biased.I'm glad you like other Irish names. Sinead ("shi-NADE") is one of my all time favorites. :-)

I now, that's my problem, I don't want to pronounce it wrong. Do you have any suggestions for names with the same feeling as see-OB(H)-ahn?
That's what I thought it was prounounced like at first and I liked that. :-)
