What do you think of Olaus, a Latinized form of Olaf (pronounced as AW-lows)?
I'm myself on the fence of liking it. I find its medieval background cool (IIRC I have a 16th century ancestor with this name), but on the other hand I'm afraid that Olaus seems somewhat incomplete, like a suffix of a longer name (e.g. Nikolaus).
