[Opinions] Re: Agamemnon

Sure. More so than Caligula or Oedipus or Agrippa.
Maybe about as much as Algernon or Ptolemy.Agamemnon's dad's name is popular now. (Atreus)I think a lot of notable classical or mythological figures are hypothetically unpleasant as namesakes; a lot of them had slaves. Hercules and Medea killed their kids (and are possibly more famous than Agamemnon?), yet people have used those names. What I don't like about it is that it has the word "game" in it. Plus it has the same harsh beginning as Agnes (so if that bothers someone, then no, it's not usable). If I heard it as a kid's name, I wouldn't assume the parents idolized the ancient king/character or felt connected to his actions. I'd think they liked the sound and weightiness of it. In a way, it reminds me of Atlas + Megatron, maybe because of the game thing, but also because it sounds like its meaning, heavy or vaguely Metatron-like.
