When on another name board a long time ago I came across a similar thread and there was a post from a member saying she avoids choosing first names with the same initial as she had a thing about mail...if you had a Rohan and a Rory and a letter came for Mr R Smith, you wouldn't know who it was for! I've been the same ever since.
