I posted on this name some time ago. Back then everybody seemed to hate it but I just got some nice comments on it so I wonder whether people have changed their minds.
I always thought Homer was really handsome and even though I watch "The Simpsons" at least once a week or so (it is always on TV here, everday for an hour at least) I don't even think of Homer Simpson when I hear it.
1. Do you think of Homer Simpson ?
2. Is Homer Simpson the only "person" you can think of ? I mean does he pop into your head first or can you also think of someone/something else ?
3. What would you except someone named Homer to be/look like ?
4. Do you know anyone named Homer ? Do you know why they were named Homer and what their middle names are ? Do they get teased ?
5. Do you think a child named Homer will get teased ? Is the name trashy because of the character ? Does it sound stupid/dumb/trashy to you ?
6. Do you think it could get popular ? (two celebrities used it even though that was 8 years ago or so, one was Richard Gere).
7. Do you like the nn Homie ?
8. What do you think of Homer Atticus ? Homer Richard ? Homer Atticus Richard Asher (too long ?) ?
