The appeal lies in the fact that the name is pretty, and im from new york. I dont like the name Brooke, i just think of babbling brook, but adding the lynn and making it the complete name, it turned it to a name that i DO like. and i wont give my child 3 names, besides her last, its a little much in my opinion, and im sorry but i think that boys with this name are..pardon my french, screwed becauses its girly. And who decided it was "way to trendy"? i dont know a single soul besides the little pop star who has a child named Brooklynn, and its a male.
